O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A

The cat is out of the bag, we are moving to OKLAHOMA! We bought a lot and we are going to build a house. We've hired an architect and the plans are almost finished. We still have a few things to tweak, but we are so excited. While the house is being built, we are going to be living in my parents old house in Olde Towne. Can't wait to be there and have everyone over! Come visit us:)

The Twins Come to Town

Jack and Josh came for a visit and we had the most terrific weather! The boys got to sled a ton! What a blast!

Thing 2 is TWO

We celebrated Sutton's second birthday with a Dr. Seuss themed "Thing 2 is TWO" party. It was so much fun planning, I seriously had the best time! Ford and Sutton really enjoyed all the decorations and fun "Seuss-y" things that covered the house. Here's some pics of the fun day!

Swimming and Soccer

When we decided to take Ford to Grand Cayman with us, we knew we needed to get him comfortable in the water. There were going to be 5 older kids there who can all swim, and we didn't want Ford to be scared or feel left out. So, we enrolled him in a survival swim class and he did great! We are on our second session now and he swims laps in the pool and absolutely loves the water!

He also started soccer this summer. It's hysterical to see little kids play soccer. It reminds me of my brother playing YMCA basketball....just a complete cluster. Ford loved it though, he even slept in his soccer gear for the first week. He scored a goal in every game, he even scored goals for the other team!

I'm so thankful that my boys are able to play sports and run and do the things they love. What a blessing!

It's Been A While...

Man, I haven't updated this in a long time! There are so many things going on in life that this is the one thing that gets put on the back burner.

We've taken many wonderful trips. In August, we went to California to visit Ryan's family. The weather was perfect and beautiful, just like you'd expect in Southern California. We went to Newport Beach almost every single day. We also braved Disneyland one day, but it was a little stressful. September brings fall, football and our annual trip to Oklahoma for Labor Day. Mommy and Daddy went to watch the OSU/Arizona game and Aunt Tracy and Uncle Rocky took you boys to watch Conrad's football game. It was your first football game and you had the best time! You cried when mommy picked you up and neither of you wanted to leave! In October, we took Ford to Grand Cayman for Ryan's work trip. Sutton stayed home with Kailyn and Nana. Both of you boys had a wonderful time!

Sutton turned two and we had a big "Dr. Seuss" party to celebrate! It was a lot of fun and all of your friends came to celebrate with you Sutton! Even Grandma Linda came all the way from California, and she stayed for Halloween so she could see you boys in your cute costumes!

We just celebrated Thanksgiving a few days ago. We didn't do anything special, it was just the 4 of us. Mommy prepared the typical feast, and as usual, you boys didn't want anything to do with it! Mommy and Daddy had a lot of leftovers!

Christmas is right around the corner and then we will prepare for our big move to Oklahoma. Mommy and Daddy are sad to leave Colorado, it's such a wonderful place to live. But, we know that this is the right move for our family. We know you boys will love it there!
