The cat is out of the bag, we are moving to OKLAHOMA! We bought a lot and we are going to build a house. We've hired an architect and the plans are almost finished. We still have a few things to tweak, but we are so excited. While the house is being built, we are going to be living in my parents old house in Olde Towne. Can't wait to be there and have everyone over! Come visit us:)

The Twins Come to Town

Jack and Josh came for a visit and we had the most terrific weather! The boys got to sled a ton! What a blast!

Thing 2 is TWO

We celebrated Sutton's second birthday with a Dr. Seuss themed "Thing 2 is TWO" party. It was so much fun planning, I seriously had the best time! Ford and Sutton really enjoyed all the decorations and fun "Seuss-y" things that covered the house. Here's some pics of the fun day!

Swimming and Soccer

When we decided to take Ford to Grand Cayman with us, we knew we needed to get him comfortable in the water. There were going to be 5 older kids there who can all swim, and we didn't want Ford to be scared or feel left out. So, we enrolled him in a survival swim class and he did great! We are on our second session now and he swims laps in the pool and absolutely loves the water!

He also started soccer this summer. It's hysterical to see little kids play soccer. It reminds me of my brother playing YMCA basketball....just a complete cluster. Ford loved it though, he even slept in his soccer gear for the first week. He scored a goal in every game, he even scored goals for the other team!

I'm so thankful that my boys are able to play sports and run and do the things they love. What a blessing!

It's Been A While...

Man, I haven't updated this in a long time! There are so many things going on in life that this is the one thing that gets put on the back burner.

We've taken many wonderful trips. In August, we went to California to visit Ryan's family. The weather was perfect and beautiful, just like you'd expect in Southern California. We went to Newport Beach almost every single day. We also braved Disneyland one day, but it was a little stressful. September brings fall, football and our annual trip to Oklahoma for Labor Day. Mommy and Daddy went to watch the OSU/Arizona game and Aunt Tracy and Uncle Rocky took you boys to watch Conrad's football game. It was your first football game and you had the best time! You cried when mommy picked you up and neither of you wanted to leave! In October, we took Ford to Grand Cayman for Ryan's work trip. Sutton stayed home with Kailyn and Nana. Both of you boys had a wonderful time!

Ford in Grand Cayman

Sutton turned two and we had a big "Dr. Seuss" party to celebrate! It was a lot of fun and all of your friends came to celebrate with you Sutton! Even Grandma Linda came all the way from California, and she stayed for Halloween so she could see you boys in your cute costumes!

With Grandma Linda at the Halloween Parade

We just celebrated Thanksgiving a few days ago. We didn't do anything special, it was just the 4 of us. Mommy prepared the typical feast, and as usual, you boys didn't want anything to do with it! Mommy and Daddy had a lot of leftovers!

Christmas is right around the corner and then we will prepare for our big move to Oklahoma. Mommy and Daddy are sad to leave Colorado, it's such a wonderful place to live. But, we know that this is the right move for our family. We know you boys will love it there!

Gotta Love Summer!

These kiddos certainly do! What more could a kid want on a hot day besides ice cream from the ice cream truck?

Sutton's First Day of School

This is the best picture I could get of you boys on Sutton's first day of school (6/7/11). You were both way too interested in the camera.

Squirt Gun Fun

What a great time you boys had enjoying the warm weather!

Choo Choo!

You boys had a blast playing on the railroad tracks one morning before breakfast at The Huckleberry!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame...

Sutton, you are your daddy's boy! You love to hit the ball!

Rough Housin'

You boys certainly love to rough house! I try to teach you to be gentle but it's not working so well!

Snow Day!

We had a fun snow day on February 6, 2011. We actually got you to wear at hat, Ford!

Sutton's First Time Out

Sutton, you crack mommy up! I had to take this picture of you in time out. You kept crawling under the chair and you thought I couldn't see you! It was so funny.

Busy Bees

Ohmygoodness, we have been so busy! Time is seriously flying by and I can't seem to catch my breath. Here's some updates on the boys...

Ford--Ford is THREE now and he is SUCH a big boy. He is even sleeping in a big boy bed! His sense of humor cracks me up and I can't get over how smart he is! He counts by himself and actually gets counting. If he sees 4 trucks, he knows it's 4. He recognizes letters and knows that certain words start with certain letters. He can spell his name and recognizes the letters in his name. Ryan and I actually have conversations with him and can reason with him now. He's a total blast. These are some funny things that he's done lately. I just keep a running list in my phone.
*On Christmas day, he handed me a present and said, "this is for my wife, for my JoJo!" JoJo is a girl in his class
*I came down the stairs one day and Ford said, "you look cute, Maw!" I was in pj's and my hair was a mess. Awwww!
*He's an imitator! He says things like "perfect", "terrific", "fabulous", "get outta town!", "that's ridiculous!" and "no way!"
*I was putting Ford in the bath one night and he stubbed his toe. He looked at me and said, "I have to go to Target, I gotta buy a new foot!"
*Ford calls Ryan "Ry" instead of Dad! He'll be looking for him around the house yelling, "Ry! Ry! Ry!"
*I scolded Ford about something one day and he didn't agree so he looked at me and said, "you in time out, I'm da mom!!!"

Sutton--Sutty is growing up every day and he talks all the time! He says mama, daddy, dog, juice, bubba, dog, bird, be-bo (bellybutton), peepee, ball, go, out, car...the list goes on and on. It amazes me how different he is from Ford. Sutton loves to be outside and he is always playing with a ball or a bat or a club. He is really coordinated, too. He loves Ford and he is constantly in his business. Most days they get along great but there are times when it's pure chaos here. I wouldn't have it any other way, though. These boys are my everything!

New Year's in California

We went to California for New Years. We took Ford to Disneyland and Sutton stayed with grandma and gramps.

Waiting in line...

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride---Ford loved it!!!!
We also took Ford to Discovery Zone. It was a little old for him, but he did enjoy dressing like a hockey player.

Ryan and I even got a night out. We drove down to San Clemente and stayed the night with our wonderful friends, Clay and Alli and Seth and Nicole.

Ford is THREE

Ford had a sports themed party at our gym. We invited all the neighborhood kids and they had a blast! It was perfect because it was cold outside but all the kids still got a good workout. Poor Fordie was sick, though, and barely even ate his cake:(

Christmas 2010

We had a terrific Christmas. Grandpa Robert and AA (Aunt Allison) came to visit and helped us put up our tree.

Sutton's First Hair Cut

Sutton got his hair cut for the 1st time by our neighbor, Melisa. She was sweet enough to come over and do it at the house so that Sutton wouldn't freak out.

Sutton's First Birthday Party

Sutty, mommy made you a book of all the pictures for your party. You had a terrific time! Here's some pics...
